[edit] In the beginning

I was born in Waterloo, Iowa on September 11th (it used to be a great date!) back when my parents were both still completing their Master degrees at [UNI]. A year later they moved to Spencer, Iowa (NW Iowa) and I lived there until I went to college.

[edit] College life

I followed in the footsteps of my parents, attending UNI and decided to major in Management Information Systems (MIS). After a great four years I graduated in 2000, married my wife Nikki, and looked for gainful employment.

[edit] In the real world

Following graduation, I worked briefly as a furniture salesman (about 5 weeks, I believe), then as a computer consultant for RSM McGladrey for about 5 months, then Wartburg College for 1 year, and finally landed my current job here at [UNI].

[edit] Right now

I'm the ResNet Administrator. I started work in May of 2002 and have made a lot of changes to ResNet since I was first hired. I oversee about 15 student workers that help over 4,000 students in the residence halls.

I have two daughters- Noel, who was born Aug. 8th, 2004 and Natalie, born April 14th, 2006. We live in Cedar Falls, Iowa and enjoy active participation with our local church, [Prairie Lakes Church] as well as spend time with my family in the area. I also enjoy making ASCII art, soccer, computer games, and avoiding Boobahs.
