[July 2008] This page references the ResNet Steering Committee, which has been succeeded by the Board of Directors, governed by the Bylaws.

The ResNet Steering Committee governs the ResNet organization and supports those associated with and interested in academic initiatives and technologies provided to higher education residential communities.

The Steering Committee provides leadership and guidance to organization activities, develops and provides information regarding the impact of technology in residential communities, and provides forums for information exchange.

The Steering Committee is self-perpetuating and consists of at-large members that lead selected initiatives along with members that organize and direct the ResNet Symposium host and program committees. All Steering Committee members are involved in the process of guiding the organization and setting its course and agendas.

The Succession History PDF offers a high level overview on the Steering Committee's progression and growth to address on-going needs within the supported ResNet community. Additional information regarding the Steering Committee and governance of the ResNet organization can be found within the ResNet Charter.
