Once you have logged in to the ResNet Symposium Proposal Manager (RSPM) you have all the access you had before you were logged in plus more. You now have the ability to submit a BOF or a presentation proposal. Additionally, you can check out the user profiles of everyone else who has created an account on RSPM. Speaking of, you should edit your profile as soon as you log in. Just click "Edit Profile" in the top navigation. You'll have the ability to upload a photo of yourself - please do!

[edit] Proposal Submission

When you click "Proposals" you will be brought to a screen where you can see all the proposals you have already submitted as well as any proposals for which you are listed as a presenter. You will also see a button to click to submit a new proposal.

Submitting a proposal is intuitive. Just fill out the form. Please note that the content of the form may change from year to year.

The only unusual thing about the proposal submission form is choosing the presenters. By default, your name will be selected in the presenter list. If you are presenting with other people you can control-click to select them. If your co-presenters are not available in the list it means they haven't created an account on the RSPM. No worries, you can always add them later. Everyone who is presenting should eventually create an account. All presenters listed in a proposal will be able to make changes to the proposal. Additionally, all listed presenters will be able to view the evaluations for their session(s).

Files can be uploaded through the RSPM. You can submit multiple files as long as they are named differently. You'll get a warning if you try to upload a file with the same name as one you already uploaded. You can also download any of the files from here.

[edit] Evaluations

Once your session has begun it will be available for attendees to evaluate. You can immediately look at the feedback you received by clicking on the graph icon on the Session Evaluations Section.

Your evaluations will be summarized for you. Responses to the questions will be tallied and all long-hand comments will be left as they were submitted.
