Packing List

Conference Bag

As part of our broad sustainability efforts, ResNet 2010 attendees will not be receiving a conference bag.

  • Anyone traveling with laptops will have ample room in their laptop bags for the symposium program booklet and other handouts.
  • Otherwise, a simple tote bag, like those increasingly popular reusable grocery bags, will be easy to stuff in your luggage and sufficient for carrying your symposium materials.

Clothing & Accessories

In Bellingham, one of the simple keys to happiness is utilizing the layers approach to dressing and the right shoes and hat for every occasion.

  • base layer: t-shirt or button-down (long sleeve if you tend to get cold easy)
  • warm layer: light sweater, hoodie, fleece
  • outer layer: rain jacket works best, doubles as windbreaker
    • School Spirit Night: For the Opening Reception & Dinner, Saturday, June 26th, wear something with your institution’s branding on it.
    • Geek T-shirt Day: On Sunday the 27th, ResNet attendees have the opportunity to don their favorite geek T-shirt. The caffeine molecule. Keep out of direct sunlight. What one will be your favorite to run out and buy when you get home?
    • ResNet Symposium T-shirt Day: On Tuesday, the 29th, wear a ResNet Symposium t-shirt of your choice, either from ResNets past or your brand new ResNet 2010 shirt.
