T-shirt Exchange rules

At ResNet 2010, we will be continuing the wildly-popular T- shirt exchange. This is your chance to show off your school or department’s flair for fashion, and allow you to take home a shirt bearing the logo of another school.

Procedure:

1. Bring a (clean, unused) shirt with you to the conference, and drop it off at the registration desk.

a. Each attendee is allowed up to (2) shirts.

2. You will get a raffle number /letter- don’t lose it! We suggest keeping it in your name badge.

a. For your first shirt, you will receive a number.

b. For your second shirt, you will receive a letter.

3. The day of the exchange, all numbers will be called first, in random order picked from a fishbowl.

a. When you number is called during the exchange, come forward to select a shirt. You must select a shirt in the same size that you brought (If you brought a medium, take a medium).

b. After all numbers have been called, letters will be called. Follow the same procedure as above.

Additional Notes:

1. You do not have to have a shirt from your ResNet group, you can go to the Book Store or department store in your area and a buy one.

2. Shirts only! No hats, bandanas, tote bags, mouse pads, boxer shorts, etc., may be substituted for a shirt.

3. No more than two shirts per attendee! This isn’t an excuse to get rid of all the extra shirts you ordered because you needed to drain your budget before the fiscal year ended!

4. Remember the size you bring is the size you are to take home!!! Shirt sizes that are most popular are Large & Extra Large, but if you bring a medium or XXL then take home that size. This is isn’t an excuse to get rid of all the “small” shirts you order, underestimating the stereotypical size of your student computer support staff.

5. To save time, you’ll be selecting your shirt at the same time as several other attendees. There may be mutual interest in an available shirt. If this happens, please settle your conflict in a mature matter, within the time allotted.
