| Description: | At Yale, we offer full-service backups and data recover for student computers.
In this session, I'll talk about the various strategies and software we use to
recover and backup data, and our solutions to managing and storing the large
amounts of data we deal with. I'll cover what has and hasn't worked for us, including free and commercial software for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. I'll also talk about our experiences with various hardware, such as drive adapters and Network-Attached Storage Devices. |
