This presentation will address what makes a Matrix Team structure different from what many see as business teams (read: committees) and the creation and running of our Matrix structure in particular. We will explore what went wrong and what we got right, and what the problems and successes were with how our staff has handled the profound changes that such a change dictates. We'll also talk about how we ensure real personal accountability in a comprehensive team environment, and what happens with people who just aren't “team players.” Finally, we will look at the bottom line. Does the student in need of technology support have a better experience now than they did a year ago?
